Football match against Sennen School

Pendeen played Sennen School in the first round of the West Cornwall Small Schools Cup Competition.  We are awaiting a report of the game from the players.

On Tuesday, the Pendeen school football team hosted the Sennen school football team. Before half time Mawgan scored a goal to keep Pendeen’s hopes alive. At half time Pendeen found themselves 2-1 down. With a great equaliser by Ryan in the second half the score became 2-2. Swiftly, Sennen scored a good free kick to put themselves 3-2 up. In the dying minutes of the game Stephen scored a cracking equaliser off the post and got his first goal for Pendeen! This 3-3 brought some extra time, Stephen scored a great goal, and we became the winners 4-3. Thank you from Ryan, Ben, Archie, Mawgan, Travis, Ashley, Marley, Reuben, Patrick, Freddie and a great big thank you to Mr Tanser and Mr Larter for organising this for us. We look forward to the second round of the Shield Cup. By Travis, Ryan, Patrick and Mawgan.
