SEN Teaching Assistant, One post, part time, 16 hours. To start 28th October 2019
As part of Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, Pendeen School is seeking an enthusiastic, patient and caring part time teaching assistant to join our fantastic team after Autumn Half Term 2019. A nurturing approach and knowledge of child development and special education needs is essential for the role, as is the ability to work as part of a team.
The role will be primarily based in a lower Key Stage Two class and will involve supporting a pupil with Downs Syndrome. This role is a job share with another existing member of staff and will require the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. We are seeking a confident practitioner with a compassionate, consistent and calm nature who is able to maintain a positive approach at all times.
